We are down to the final days before the State Senate election in Brockton, East Bridgewater, Easton, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Plympton, and Whitman.
Why should you care?
The choice is between two representatives –one has voted for every tax increase since being elected and the other has stopped automatic gas tax hikes.
As State Representative, Geoff Diehl, has delivered for us. He’s the real Diehl. Geoff led the successful effort to repeal automatic gas tax hikes –saving us $2 billion in new taxes.
After the election, Geoff did not rest on his accomplishments. He stopped the outrageous $75,000 pay raises legislative leaders wanted.
When the Legislature refused to protect taxpayers from having to pay for the Olympics, Geoff stepped forward once again to lead the effort to do another ballot question to prohibit tax dollars for the games.
Geoff has saved taxpayers $12 billion. No other legislator can claim that.
How big an accomplishment is that? Right now, Jeb Bush is airing commercials talking about how he saved $19 billion as Governor.
Diehl’s opponent, Michael Brady, is a tax-and-spend liberal who takes his marching orders from the Speaker of the House. Brady voted 99.76% of the time with the Speaker! His record on taxes is pitiful. According to Citizens for Limited Taxation, he has a ZERO rating. That means he never protects the taxpayers.

Voting to raise the sales tax 25%
Voting to double-tax alcohol
Voting for the tech tax
Voting for automatic gas taxes
Voting against all attempts to
lower the income tax to 5%
Voting against all attempts to
lower the sales tax back to 5%

sales tax holiday weekend permanent
Voting against creating a meals tax holiday

Voted for higher utilities taxes
Voted for higher sin taxes
Voted for higher taxes on businesses
Ouch!
Due to Brady being a reliable vote for taxes, the special interest groups are pouring in money to help him. Already, they are doing negative push polling against Geoff. They know that Brady cannot win on his record so they must distort Geoff’s.
It is critical that we elected Geoff Diehl to the Senate. Senator Bob Hedlund is likely to win for mayor in Weymouth which leaves us with one less strong conservative voice in the Senate. In other words if you pay taxes, then you need to help Geoff. Please go to GeoffDiehl.com.
