Local Democrats Push to Let Men Undress in Girls Room

by Lawrence ‘Lonnie’ Brennan
Parent alert: Rep. Ted Speliotis (Danvers), Sen. Joan B. Lovely (Salem), Rep. Lori A. Ehrlich (Marblehead), Rep. David Paul Linskey (Natick) and many other Democrat legislators have penned their names on House bill 1577, “An Act relative to gender identity and nondiscrimination,” aka the “Bathroom Bill.”

If passed, this bill will force everyone –  businesses, schools, restaurants, stores, offices –  to let any guy stroll into any girls bathroom or locker room.
As of the time of this printing, no Republican has joined the list, but instead they have either remained silent, or have urged caution, or have strongly opposed allowing men into girls bathrooms and locker rooms.  At hearings on Beacon Hill, the homosexual lobby has been the most visible and aggressive, making the passage of this bill into law its apparent number one priority for this legislative session.

Democrat legislators leading the charge are Rep. Byron Rushing and Rep. Denise Provost.  Other Democrat reps. and senators include: Cory Atkins, Ruth B. Balser, Michael J. Barrett, William N. Brownsberger, Paul Brodeur, Gailanne M. Cariddi, Marjorie C. Decker, Sonia Chang-Diaz, James B. Eldridge, Tricia Farley-Bouvier, Sean Garballey, Kenneth I. Gordon, Jonathan Hecht, Paul R.
