It’s been a scorcher of a summer\, but I have been outside every day\, knocking on doors\, listening to your concerns\, and introducing myself to each and every voter in the newly configured 14th Essex District. \nFor those of you I haven’t yet had a chance to meet\, my name is Joe Finn. I’m a long-time resident of North Andover\, where my wife Nancy and I raised our three boys. I’m currently running as a Republican for State Representative of the new 14th Essex District. I’m running to fight the government overspending that’s driving this inflation crisis\, to work to lower taxes so families have more of their income available to deal with rising prices\, to protect our local communities from overdevelopment\, and to bring balance and common sense BACK to Beacon Hill. \nAs of this week\, I have personally knocked on over 3\,000 doors and placed over 400 signs throughout neighborhoods in Amesbury\, Boxford\, Groveland\, North Andover\, and West Newbury. I am fully committed to working right up until election day\, but I can’t do it alone. I promise to visit every home necessary to make my case personally to the voters\, but our campaign also needs funding to help pay for the direct mail\, digital advertisements\, and volunteer expenses necessary to ensuring a victory for common sense on election day. \nTo that end\, we will be hosting a campaign fundraiser during the first week of August to help cover some of these costs. Your contribution of $50\, $100\, $250\, $500 will go a long way towards helping us continue to get our message to the people who need to hear it. The maximum contribution is $1000 per person\, $2000 per couple. \nChecks can be made out to “Finn Committee” and returned in the enclosed envelope.
