DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a memorial mass to be held on Saturday\, January 14\, 2023\, 5:00 P.M. at Saint Leonard’s Church in Boston’s North End (320 Hanover Street\, Boston\, MA 02113) in remembrance of Lt Fr. Vincent Capodanno\, an Italian American whose life exemplified the best of Italian culture and devotion to God and Country.  \n  \nHe was posthumously given the United States Congressional Medal of Honor in January of 1969 for his heroic act in the Vietnam War. \n  \nThe Catholic Church has declared him a Servant of God\, the first of the four stages toward possible sainthood. \n  \nIn addition to sponsoring this mass\, several Italian American organizations\, including the Italian American Alliance\, the Pirandello Lyceum\, the Post Gazette\, the Sons and Daughters of Italy\, the Dante Alighieri Society\, the Federation of Italian and Italian-American Associations\, and Augusta Boston are actively engaged in petitioning the Postmaster General of the United States to issue a COMMEMORITIVE STAMP to recognize an outstanding Italian American. She currently has a first amendment federal lawsuit to defend her right to free speech. \nShe is a consultant for parental rights groups\, government officials\, and law firms across our country. She is a member of AEl’s Conservative Education Reform Network and has written for The American Mind and Center for Renewing America. \nMost recently\, Jennifer helped with a landmark lawsuit in Tennessee that argues SEL is in violation of the state’s Critical Race Theory ban. \nMichael King is the Director of Community Alliances at the Massachusetts Family Institute. \nPrior to Michael’s role at Massachusetts Family Institute\, he served as Family Ministries Director at a local church and principal of a \nK-12 Christian school. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Messiah College and a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University. \nMichael networks with local pastors and church leaders to educate and motivate people to stand up for righteousness in the public square. He continues to promote MFl’s ground­ breaking book\, “Engage The Bay State\,” which clearly defines \nthe culture war we find ourselves in today between the precepts of the Bible and secular human thinking. He hopes to inspire Christians to engage with their local governments about the Biblical foundations of marriage\, life and religious liberty. \nWhat You Will Learn: \n\nWHAT really is being taught in our schools with regard to the “buzz words” Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)\, Critical Race Theory (CRT)\, Diversity\, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)\, Gender Identity Ideology\, and Culturally Responsive Teaching.\nWHAT Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE) is and what the impact will be on sex education already being taught in public schools throughout the State of MA if the MA House of Representatives passes the “Healthy Youth Act” Massachusetts Senate Bill 2459.\nWHY our kids are given all these surveys in school and what they are really about. WHAT the difference is between “Active” and “Passive” parental consent. HOW you can “OPT-OUT” your child from being administered these surveys and from participating in sex education.\nWHAT rights you have as a parent. WHAT the “Protection of Pupil Rights” law is and how to know if your school is violating these rights.\nHOW to write a Freedom of Information Request (FOIA) to obtain public records about topics that are being taught that you have questions about that your school officials do not answer.\nWHAT actions you can take to have a voice in your community to engage other parents and citizens.
