This walk-through tunnel simulation provides powerful insight into their experience and the opportunity to unite across political divides in the call for their freedom. \nBACKGROUND \nDuring the October 7th brutal attack\, over 1200 people were murdered\, and of them\, 45 were Americans. After almost ten months of captivity\, Hamas is still holding over 100 people hostage\, including 8 Americans – all are being denied access to humanitarian aid and visits by the Red Cross. \nThe Hostage Tunnel Exhibit is an audio-visual simulation of hostages’ experiences in Hamas tunnels in Gaza. Designed in consultation with hostages who were released in November\, with audio from recovered Hamas body cameras and video from inside the tunnels\, this immersive exhibit provides powerful insight into the horrors of Hamas captivity. \nThis exhibit appeared before the UN in Geneva\, Switzerland\, in February and at the National Mall in DC in March. DESCRIPTION:The Sandwich\, Bourne\, Falmouth\, RTCs (Republican Town Committees) along with Cape Cod Concerned Citizens is holding a Primary Candidate Forum featuring US Senate candidates\, Ian Cain\, Bob Antonellis and Aaron Packard. The event will be held on Tuesday\, August 13\, 2024\, at 5:30pm at the Monument Beach Sportsman Club\, located at 199 MacArthur Blvd\, Bourne\, MA. \nThe Primary Candidate Forum will also include State Senate Candidates Mathew Muratore (currently State Representative\, 1st Plymouth district) and Kari MacRae\, (currently School Committee member\, Bourne\, MA) \nModerator\, Jay McMahon\, will start with the US Senate Candidates by allowing them to speak to their candidacies\, vision and accomplishments. The audience will have the opportunity to ask question to the candidates by writing questions on index cards which will be randomly selected\, then read by the Moderator. The same format will be used for the State Senate candidates. \nThe Primary Candidate Forum is opened to the public free of charge. Candidates may bring campaign materials and campaign staff. \nThe social time will begin at 5:30pm where candidates and audience members can network and socialize. The forum will begin at 6:00pm.
