What Can One Do? Oppose ICE Says the Dedham “Catholic” Church Bulletin

NOTES BETWEEN PRINTED EDITIONS

Yup, a so-called Catholic Church advocating for breaking immigration laws enforced by ICE. The same parish holding Jesus, Mary, and Joseph hostage to their political ideals of open borders for all.

Note: As talk show host Jeffrey T. Kuhner reminded his listeners today, Heaven has strict entry policies. Hell, in contrast, has open borders.

From the weekly bulletin, last Sunday at Saint Susanna Parish:

What Can One Do?

The Government continues to thwart the previous assistance programs that enabled refugees to settle in our communities. We live, not in an era of change, but in a change of an era. Uncertainty is a constant. Easy for one to feel at a loss for how best to respond. Our parish groups that are involved in various ministries are discerning ways as to how we can respond in meaningful ways in these challenging times. Below is just a partial list of organizations that are engaged in positive life-giving activities that would welcome your participation:

Support Local Food Assistance Programs:
Donate to our St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Dedham Food Pantry. (See notice inside on ways to donate and volunteer at the Food Pantry.)

Support Organizations Assisting with Resettling and advocating for Refugees:
Donate to our Parish Refugee Ministry.
Donate to Catholic Charities Legal Defense Fund for Refugees.
Make checks payable to: Catholic Charities Boston

If you see ICE (there have been incidents in Dedham!) please call the hotline at (617)-370-5023.
Simply state what you see and where. The operator will gather the information and alert others to assist.
