State Senate Candidate Kari MacRae Calls for Resignations Over Voter Fraud at Plymouth RTC Meeting

NOTES BETWEEN PRINTED EDITIONS

“If Republicans won’t police ourselves, we have no credibility to police the Democrats.” – Kari MacRae

Bourne, MA – Kari MacRae, a current member of the Bourne Republican Town Committee and a candidate for State Senate in the Plymouth & Barnstable District, is calling for the immediate resignations of State Committee woman Jen Cunningham and her daughter, Casey Locke, after an incident of voter fraud at a recent Plymouth Republican Town Committee meeting. MacRae, who was in attendance at the meeting, witnessed Cunningham knowingly violate the Plymouth RTC bylaws by directing/allowing her daughter, Casey Locke , a registered voter in Weymouth, to cast a vote in Plymouth, where she is not a resident.

A Plymouth RTC member asked if Ms. Locke was a resident of Plymouth, and couldn’t get a direct answer from Ms.Cunningham or Mrs. Locke. “I witnessed this betrayal firsthand,” said MacRae. “Many potential Republican Town Committee members who were present walked out in disgust. I even overheard two people say, ‘This is exactly why Republicans don’t win in Massachusetts.’ They’re right. If we don’t hold our own members accountable, we can never expect the public to trust us.”

MacRae is demanding:

1. The immediate resignation of Casey Locke from the Plymouth Republican Town Committee, as she is not a resident or legal voter in Plymouth.

2. The immediate resignation of Jen Cunningham from both the Plymouth Republican Town Committee and her seat on the Massachusetts Republican State Committee.

3. A transparent investigation by party leadership to restore confidence in the Massachusetts Republican Party.

“As Republicans, we constantly advocate for election integrity,” MacRae continued. “To allow voter fraud and misconduct within our own party makes us hypocrites and weakens the trust voters place in us. It is time to send a clear message: voter fraud and misconduct will not be tolerated, no matter who commits it.” MacRae reaffirmed her commitment to restoring honesty and integrity to politics in Massachusetts: “The voters of Plymouth and Barnstable deserve leaders who practice what they preach. I will continue to fight for accountability, transparency, and the values that make our party strong.”
