Petition Requesting an Investigation into Misconduct at St. Susanna Church – Immigration Law Deniers
A petition has just been posted online to gather signatures to request an investigation into the Catholic Reverand Stephen Josoma, the infamous clergy member who has defied the will of his boss, Archbishop Richard Henning of the Archdiocese of Boston. Josoma has refused to stop using sacred church images to promote his personal political hatred of the president of the United States, Donald J. Trump. He’s the guy who has put Jesus in a cage, and now pulled a stunt with a sacred nativity scene, replacing the Holy Family with a sign stating “ICE WAS HERE.”
His sign, and claim that the Holy Family were illegal immigrants grabbed by the state is blasphemous on many levels. They were never illegal immigrants. Reverand Josoma is in need of remedial education in this matter.
“It is with a heavy heart that parishioners at St. Susanna believe that sacrilegious acts and financial malfeasance have taken place under Father Josoma’s leadership. Instances that reflect poorly on the sanctity of the church, such as the display of a desecrated Nativity scene, are simply unacceptable and have no place in our community. This situation demands immediate action and oversight to prevent further damage to the church’s reputation and integrity.
“We are appealing to Archbishop Richard Henning of the Archdiocese of Boston to conduct an official and thorough investigation into these allegations. Such an investigation should delve deeply into the financial records and recent actions taken by Father Josoma. The goal is to uncover any malfeasance and assess the appropriateness of current church operations,” the petitioners note.
“Should this investigation reveal probable cause, we request that Father Josoma be suspended pending termination of his career as a priest in the Roman Catholic Church. A change in leadership may be the only way to restore trust and faith in the community.

“We also propose that serious consideration be given to repurposing the property to better integrate with the community’s current needs. One solution, should the church continue to flounder financially, is to put the property up for sale, sending a clear message about accountability and stewardship.”
One former member of the congregation provided copies of public records to the Boston Broadside and the Archdiocese of Boston which cite the reverand as personally receiving the estate of a long-time parishoner who died in 2015. The will naming the reverand was notarized two days prior to her death. Questions regarding the transfer remain, also.
