That’s how Senator Ed Markey is treating voters in his re-election bid this cycle: he’ll debate his Republican opponent once, and only once, then he’s done.
Specifically, despite participating in 7 primary debates with his Democrat rivals, Markey will only do ONE, and ONLY ONE debate with Republican challenger Kevin O’Connor, and that debate is tonight (bet you didn’t know).
