Heard on the Ed Lambert show (WXTK Cape Cod radio) this morning, Falmouth, Barnstable, and other school districts carve out seats in-school for the children of teachers, but deny full-time school to other kids.
Is this fair? Is this right? Teachers have to be there, and as “working parents” they have to have their kids go someplace. But, if their kids can go to school full-time, why can’t others?
Barbara Dunn, Barnstable School Committee member, declined to discuss the matter.
