NOTES BETWEEN PRINTED ISSUES

WOBURN, MASS – The law firm for the Massachusetts Republican Party (MassGOP) just donated $500 to a Democrat.

The race is on to fill an empty state senate seat in the Worcester & Hampshire state senate district. Three candidates are seeking the office: Republicans Bruce Chester and Peter Durant will face off in an Oct. primary, with the winner to face off against Democrat Jon Zlotnik.

According to the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance, the law firm chosen by MassGOP Chair Amy Carnevale to represent the interests of Republicans in Massachusetts has a long history donating to primarily to Democrats. And they’ve done it again.

The Nixon Peabody LLP Political Action Committee which represents the law firm recently made a $500 donation to Democrat Zlotnik. More is expected.  Zlotnik has more than $50,000 in his campaign account at last reporting, outpacing Durant ($30,000), and Chester ($6,000).

In 2022, Zlotnik was the recipient of $22,000 from the so-called “Baker” Political Action Committee – the PAC formed to support Democrats and candidates who support Democrat control of the Massachusetts legislature.

Zlotnik is a rubber-stamp for extremist lesbian illegal-alien supporting Democrat Gov. Maura ‘hold-it if you don’t want to share a rest room with a male’ Healey.
