Baker Snubs Pence: Republican Gov. Charlie Baker Too Busy to Meet with Vice President Pence

Charlie Baker will snub two national events held in Mass. on Tuesday.

The Republican who espouses all Democrat party platform actions and who has been a vocal opponent of President Trump (told everyone he did not vote for Trump, and apparently would be happy with Democrat Hillary Clinton as president), will snub Vice President Mike Pence.

For Mass. voters, this is just Charlie being Charlie.  Perhaps he figures it will garner him more Democrat votes. Well, that’s about the only votes he’ll be getting in the fall – non-liberal Republicans will be leaving a blank on the ballot. Some have started a “blank Baker” (get the double-meaning there) mini-campaign on social media. Their message: he acts like a Democrat, advocates like a Democrat, supports Democrats at seemingly all office levels, appoints Democrats, attends Democrat fundraisers, and advocates spending like a Democrat, perhaps he’s in the wrong party?

Oh, ad oldie but goody mocking of Charlie from the 2016 Republican State Committee races where Charlie spent an estimated in excess of a $1 million to oust as many conservatives from the governing group of the MassGOP:

  1. Massachusetts has the most scandal ridden state police force in the nation. Massachusetts ranks near bottom for road quality. The Children’s Services Dept. is the lowest ranked in the nation. The list goes on. Faker Baker has little to boast about.
