TELL REPUBLICANS: CENSURE OF MARTELL MEANS ‘NO CATHOLICS NEED APPLY’

ACTION ALERT!!

BY CATHOLIC ACTION LEAGUE

On Wednesday evening, June 9th at 6:45, the Massachusetts Republican State Committee will meet to consider the controversy over Deborah Martell, the state committeewoman from Ludlow who enraged elite opinion by expressing disgust at homosexual adoption.

Martell, an orthodox Catholic, after being baited and insulted by a homosexual Republican running for Congress, told him that while she wished him the best, she was “sickened” that he and his civil “husband” had adopted children.

With the exception of State Representative Marc Lombardo, every Republican in the Legislature demanded that she resign, as did Governor Charlie Baker. State Representative Shawn Dooley, a member of the state committee, will move a resolution at the committee meeting condemning Martell, calling on her to resign, and castigating her traditional Catholic beliefs as “hateful and bigoted,” “repulsive” and “evil.”

Even Pope Francis has denounced homosexual adoption, criticizing it as discrimination against children.

Catholics must make clear, unequivocally, to the Republican leadership that any censure of Deborah Martell for her faithful Catholic witness will be the same as hanging a sign on the door of the state committee which reads
NO CATHOLICS NEED APPLY.

Any condemnation of Martell will constitute both an endorsement of homosexual adoption and a public call for overt discrimination against believing Catholics in the Massachusetts Republican Party!

Please express your outrage and disgust at this brazen anti-Catholic bigotry by contacting the members of the Republican State Committee and demanding that they oppose the Dooley resolution, and support Deborah Martell and Chairman Jim Lyons!

Tell them that you will remember next November what they do on Wednesday night!

Please contact them today!

Thank you.

  1. I I hope Debra Martel sticks to her guns and follows her conscience. The mass GOP is so out of step with Massachusetts Republicans. This is the reason I became an independent voter I will not be tied to a party that hates people of faith and discriminates against them. We’re supposed to be the party of the first amendment, these people are looking a lot more like Democrats than republicans to me.

    1. Correct. 2.9% = Gay Humility, ask Rick Grenell, among our greatest warriors. The Bolsheviks and Nazis used same tactics to strip God, end family and establish One World Government. Still won’t work… Human Nature.
