New Hampshire Joins 10-State Coalition Lawsuit AGAINST UNCONSTITUTIONAL VACCINE MANDATE

House Republican Leadership Applauds AG’s Decision to join a 10-State Coalition Lawsuit

Concord, NH: NH House Speaker Sherman Packard (R-Londonderry) and Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) issued the following statements after learning that New Hampshire will be joining a 10-state coalition in a lawsuit against the federal government regarding the federal contractor vaccine mandate:

NH House Speaker Sherman Packard:

“Joining this lawsuit was the correct call. The State of New Hampshire is doing the right thing by standing up to illegal mandates, particularly one that has such devastating effects – loss of income, loss of medical privacy and an increasing number of unemployment casualties.”

“The vaccine is readily available to all Granite Staters and while House Republicans encourage everyone to make their own, informed decision on whether to get vaccinated, we maintain that getting the vaccine is a personal decision. My hope is that this lawsuit affirms our beliefs and upholds the freedom of choice.”

Majority Leader Jason Osborne:

“House Republicans have stood unapologetically against all mandates being forced upon private businesses and our citizens by the Biden Administration. History has shown that coercion and intimidation tactics are no way to achieve a desired outcome.”

“It is insulting that Washington believes Granite Staters are not informed enough to make their own health care decisions. By joining this lawsuit, we are fighting to protect Granite Staters’ personal freedoms and oppose this chaotic administration and authoritarian repression.”
