House Republican Leadership Responds to OSHA Rule

Concord, NH- House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R-Auburn) and Deputy Speaker Steven Smith (R-Charlestown) released the following statements after OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) released a rule requiring private employers with over 100 employees to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine:

Majority Leader Jason Osborne:

“Unfortunately for Granite Staters, the day we were anticipating came yesterday when OSHA released the rule for vaccine mandates. It is insulting to all of us that the Biden Administration believes we are not smart enough, or informed enough, to make our own health care decisions.”

“I thank Attorney General Formella for wasting no time and joining this latest lawsuit to protect Granite Staters against this violent overreach of government by the president and his puppet masters. I look forward to seeing the motion for stay be granted swiftly so that citizens’ can be assured that our robust system of checks and balances will protect their rights at the end of the day.”

Deputy Speaker Steven Smith:

“The NH Attorney General’s office is taking the proper steps to safeguard the interests of the Granite State, our families, and our businesses. This is a clear indicator to Washington, D.C. that this illegal mandate – through a rushed, haphazard roll out by an unelected bureaucracy, OSHA, is just not acceptable.”

“As Attorney General Formella and his team prepare to take on this mandate, the legislature will continue working for a better NH. One that promotes economic growth, financial security for families and businesses, and individual freedom.”

  1. Our lowlife AG is prosecuting an old woman for sitting quietly in her chair at an Executive Council meeting instead of prosecuting the State cops who shoved her to the ground. Nonsense like this is why our Founders barred attorneys from our government. We the People have the power to fire the government.
