WASHINGTON, D.C., JUNE 1, 2016: U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, chair of a select investigative panel, released an 83-page document detailing how women were apparently pressured to give their aborted baby parts to Planned Parenthood for re-sale to others. Ms. Blackurn also detailed multiple “systemic violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) privacy rule from about 2010 to 2015.” On behalf the select panel, Ms. Blackburn has requested a full investigation by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services.
